The hostel was quiet, cute, and clean. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was good, but limited for gluten-intolerant guests. The location was a plus, being a 20-minute walk from the center.

I stayed at Casinhas No Carolina for a week and felt welcomed and comfortable throughout my entire stay. The owners, Miguel & Sara, were incredibly kind and thoughtful. Sara prepared the most amazing breakfast based on my preferences, which was the best I've ever had in any hostel. The hotel is very clean and located near a Metro station, with plenty of local restaurants, stores, and cafes nearby. The residential area is safe and the little yard where we had breakfast felt like it came straight out of a fairytale. Can just recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Casinhas no Carolina-Hostel are a karaoke lover's dream! With a flat-screen TV, Blu-ray player, and even a Game console - PS3, we had endless entertainment options. The air-conditioning in the room was a lifesaver, especially after a long day of exploring Porto's casinos. We could relax and cool off in comfort. Having a coffee machine and fridge in the room made our mornings so much easier. We could enjoy a fresh cup of joe and keep our drinks cold for the late-night karaoke sessions.

Personally, I found the shared bathroom to be a bit inconvenient. But hey, I understand that some people may not mind that at all.
